Fujitsu has proven its capabilities many times over, but one extremely impressive effort was the contribution which Fujitsu made to the Hayabusa space mission.
Over seven years, the “Hayabusa” asteroid probe travelled to and landed on the “Itokawa” asteroid, then returned to Earth in a 6 billion kilometre journey! The probe was retrieved near Woomera, South Australia.
