Paths to Positiviti identity

Paths to Positiviti is a Sydney based practice offering Clinical Hypnotherapy, Strategic Psychotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

This enterprise needed a brand name and identity which represented the selection of appropriate pathways to improved behaviour and health.

After lengthy conversations, the founder’s philosophy of personal choices and multiple modalities, leading to renewal, became the core components, and “Paths to Positiviti” was born.

When creating a new identity for a startup or an established enterprise, it is always exciting to contribute to ‘The birth of a brand’.

Any brand identity is comprised of: a brand name (and domain name), logo, brandline, font, colour palette, ‘tone of voice’ and visual assets.

In close collaboration with the client, Digital Tsunami developed the brand name, including the distinctive, contemporary and ‘trademarkable’ spelling!

To maximise creative input and options, a crowd-sourcing platform was given a detailed brief (based on growth and a plus symbol). Designers of a plethora of submissions were encouraged and concepts curated until the client was satisfied with the icon, font and colour scheme.

Visual assets for Paths to Positiviti were initiated with commissioned photography of Australian native trees, supplemented with stock images of forest pathways.

The concept of renewal was articulated in a key photograph of peeling patchy eucalyptus bark revealing a clean, pristine tree trunk, an apt metaphor for ‘a blank slate’ or ‘turning a page’. This image became the main image for the website and was also featured on a business card and brochure.

The challenge with any property development is how to present the property accurately and effectively before a lengthy construction process is complete.

The developer of 168 luxury apartments in China resolved this challenge by creating ‘show flats’ and producing computer graphics (CG) into an impactful video.

Master Residences Yinchuan is an exclusive, luxury residential precinct in northern China. Yinchuan is the capital of the autonomous Ningxia region, seat of the Hui people, adjacent to Inner Mongolia, and a key stop on the ancient overland trade route between Europe and the Orient, the ‘Silk Road’.

The three towers of the Master Residences Yinchuan exemplify the best of East and West. Sinuous curves on the exterior pay homage to the shifting sand dunes of the surrounding desert. The technology throughout the site is best-of-breed, and suppliers from around the globe contributed their expertise and superlative products, to ensure that these apartments among the most contemporary and innovative residences in China today.

To determine the vision and strategy to launch this exceptional property, Master Real Estate appointed the founder of Digital Tsunami, Andrew W Morse to the role of Creative Director in July 2015.

Six apartments were fitted out and furnished: a townhouse (with private garden), two simplex and two duplex (dual-level) units and a (dual-level) penthouse with roof garden. CG to showcase the interiors, exteriors, clubhouse and the entire precinct was produced. This visual content was compiled into three distinct videos (also integrating aerials and still photography), each presented within the website and also on a ‘video book’ with embedded screen and magnetic switch, so the video played automatically upon opening.

To accurately reflect the extraordinarily high standards of the property, an uncompromising quality of all marketing materials was imperative. Shooting 4K aerials with an Inspire One and a pilot / gimbal operator team from Hong Kong, three videos of an exceptionally high standard were produced.

This project is a perfect example of the production of a cohesive marketing campaign across all digital and tactile media. The experience of the team at Digital Tsunami was perfectly suited to ensuring a consistent implicit and explicit message throughout all print and online touchpoints.

Hanas LNG bilingual video

In China’s far northern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (adjacent to Inner Mongolia), Hanas New Energy is an LNG and renewable energy producer.

For decades, coal has been the primary energy source in China, resulting in skies heavy with dirty particulate matter. Contributing to the transformation of the power generation sector in China, Hanas is utilising low-carbon and renewable energy sources to generate electricity. For years, Hanas has operated the most efficient LNG liquefaction plant in China.

In three locations around the Chinese East coast, Hanas plans to invest billions of RMB in the construction and operation of LNG terminals, and will then extend into the hinterland of some of the world’s most populous regions with LNG refuelling stations.

In advance of the LNG Expo of late 2015 in Singapore, Digital Tsunami was commissioned to produce a video to launch Hanas LNG onto the world stage.

With an international team of production personnel, Digital Tsunami shot time-lapse sequences and aerials in multiple locations around China from Yinchuan in the central north, to Zhuhai in the south, Putian in the north-east and Hong Kong in the south-east.

4K computer graphics were designed and developed to present a virtually realistic vision of the future assets. Ships, road transport, structures and sea were created and integrated with live action aerial footage of the actual sites of the infrastructure developments.

Cut to inspiring music, the final video, produced in three versions (bilingual, English and Mandarin / simplified Chinese), conveyed the scope and capability of this dynamic force in the rapidly evolving energy sector in China.

At the forefront of China’s energy transformation, is the clean and renewable energy producer, Hanas New Energy.

In the far northern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (adjacent to Inner Mongolia), Hanas processes natural gas to deliver electricity and a safe and reliable cooking fuel to millions of businesses and residents. For over a decade, Hanas has operated the most efficient LNG liquefaction plant in China.

In three locations around the Chinese East coast, Hanas plans to invest billions of RMB in the construction and operation of LNG terminals, and will then extend into the hinterland of some of the world’s most populous regions with LNG refuelling stations.

To present a hyper-realistic vision of these future assets, Digital Tsunami conceived and produced computer graphics in 4K resolution. Ships, road transport, structures and sea were integrated to present fuel flow in virtual reality (VR).
