Helping Hand campaign photography
CloseOverview
Helping Hand is a Hong Kong charitable organisation, assisting elderly people who lack financial support. Major annual fundraising follows Lunar New Year, when a media campaign promotes the sale of cookies. This campaign will launch on 25 February 2013.
At the initiative of Producer Andy Chan, the support of Helping Hand (on a pro-bono basis), has been a part of Digital Tsunami’s international corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme since 2006.
For this annual print campaign, Andy has managed photographic sessions with highly renowned Hong Kong actor / performer, Jacky Cheung Hok-yau.
Advertising Agency William Chan provided the creative. Manhattan Kitchens supplied the location. Photographers Bobby Lee and (this year) Joe Chan, have contributed their time, resources and talents.
Other sponsors include: Chicks, CNI Financial Holdings, Crown Worldwide, Delta photographic studios, HaiTong, Hung Holdings, MetroBroadcast, Northlight and St Honore Cake Shop.
Citiplaza will provide the venue for a launch event. The poster will appear as print ads in the daily press and prominently as billboards in public transport, including: the busy Mass Transit Railway (MTR) stations, bus shelters (courtesy of J C Decaux Cityscape) and the iconic Hong Kong Star Ferry.
Andy also produced a video for Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB), on the company’s contribution to the campaign.

From Our Clients

Please accept our sincere gratitude for the outstanding service you have provided us over the past 25 years. Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in our success.

I worked with Andrew on a photography project that involved a high level of visual complexity for a multinational client. Andrew was clear and professional in his briefing, but at the same time, was open to other ideas and approaches.

Andrew and the team at Digital Tsunami are an absolute joy to work with, going above and beyond to design and host an amazing website for Cameragal Montessori School. Their work has led to an increase in enrolments and greater visibility within the community. They are always quick to make suggestions for improvement and implement changes - the embodiment of great customer service.

The team at Digital Tsunami was incredibly responsive, delivering a solution well ahead of deadline. Their technical knowledge was exceptional, they were innovative, and they were very meticulous. What's more, they understood my business and technical requirements and translated them into a user-friendly, refined, professional site which is conceptually simple and cohesive.

With a brief timeline to ensure we had a web presence and launch coinciding with our 10 year anniversary, Digital Tsunami delivered. On time. On budget. Great Effort!
