Cameragal Montessori School is a preschool for three to six year old boys and girls, and a primary school for six to nine year old boys and girls, with three campuses located on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
It provides an authentic Montessori environment and is staffed by fully-qualified and experienced Montessori directresses and assistants.
Conceived by an Italian physician last century, the Montessori philosophy is based on a belief that children have an innate positive attitude towards learning. In a Montessori classroom there is a special atmosphere of cheerful orderliness, calmness and purposeful work. The Montessori approach is child-centred but adult-guided. It is structured but free for learning and emphasizes basics in an enjoyable way. Respect for the child is paramount.
Digital Tsunami was pleased to develop a new responsive site, after a long relationship with the school which commenced with an innovative CSS solution for the school’s first site in 2006.
The bright and informative site features a welcome page slider, section specific colours and sub-navigation, custom page sidebars, embedded videos, e.commerce and tabbed and sortable FAQ.
As with all new Digital Tsunami sites, it is built with responsive design so that it displays appropriately on platforms from desktops to all handheld devices.
